I just picked up this WW1 mess kit at a local flea market and I was wondering if anyone on here can tell me about the markings that are stamped into the top. I'm guessing that maybe the 5th stamp is referring to the 5th Infantry Division. I'm at a loss with the "148 E" stamp however. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
