Bruce Linz Posted September 5, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 5, 2018 Scott, I do not think the USMC casualty cards are online at this time. You can still make a request for one by emailing [email protected]. Are you looking for anyone in particular? Semper Fi, Bruce Linz

Semper Fi, Bruce Linz Forgive me if these are no-brainier questions, but are these casualty cards strictly KIA or do they also entail WIA? Also, are Navy corpsmen attached to Marine units requestable through that email as well? (F.T.R. I'm researching a WWII Navy corpsman who was WIA while attached to a Marine unit.) Bruce Linz Posted September 6, 2018 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2018 The USMC casualty card databases contain cards for KIA, DOW, and WIA Marines. I know the Vietnam database has entries for DOD (Died of Disease). The other databases probably have entries on deaths caused by non battle injuries. Only Marines are in these casualty card databases. I hope this information is helpful. Semper Fi, Bruce

medalcollector Posted December 9, 2020 Share #8 Posted December 9, 2020 Thought you'd like to see this as well. However, this only shows a single0 casualty for each marine. https://www.usmcu.edu/Research/Marine-Corps-History-Division/Research-Tools-Facts-and-Figures/Casualty-Card-Database/
