5thwingmarty Posted September 5, 2018 Share #3 Posted September 5, 2018 If that is a die down in the corner, what are the numbers shown? That is often how they showed the year on these.

phillock Posted September 6, 2018 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2018 Hi there A friend of mine has the same USAF Pilot Training patch and the base is Laughlin AFB, Texas around 1975. Phill
phillock Posted September 6, 2018 Share #7 Posted September 6, 2018 Hi friends Here is what Steve has sent me regarding the patch and others associated with this UPT class. OK, I dug out all three of the class patches my friend sent me from his UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) class. So, with the overall class patch here (Bell Busters) we can easily see what the class number was (76-06) and where it was. I guess in the T-37 training you were in one flight - in this case D Flight, then when you went on to the T-38 training you were assigned to a different flight - in this case M Flight. regards Phill
