HUD69 Posted September 5, 2018 Share #3 Posted September 5, 2018 There were two aircraft oxygen bottles that looked the same, the G-1 and the F-1.....both used during WWII. The F-1 is the one you have pictured, where the G-1 was the main aircraft oxygen bottle for all medium to heavy aircraft (C-47, B-24, B-17, B-25 on and on). Bob Hudson Posted July 20, 2020 Share #7 Posted July 20, 2020 A local estate sale person sent me photos today of two Type G-1 low pressure oxygen cylinders, which I'll add to this thread.
