Jacket Identification please?

Army issued jacket dated 1941 and made from what looks like tent material. Two breast pockets and is closed in front with 2 snaps and 4 buttons. Interesting sleeves which have a inner and outer sleeve as shown in photo.

Can't help you beyond stating that the tag would be your answer. In all my years of collecting, I have never encountered a specimen such as this. Most interesting! Jack

Hi t_player, on page 65 of ' Doughboy to G.I. ' your rain coat features in the quartermasters line up of clothing dated 20 June 1941, held by the National Archives III SC 120323. There was also a rain hat and trousers to complete the set.
