Unknown Twill Patch - Can You ID?

It looks like an image of an older version of a Boy Scout Den Chief chord.

A Den Chief was an older Boy Scout who volunteered to assist a Den Mother (or is it now Den Leader) in holding meetings for a Cub Scout Den.

Generally, the help was very much appreciated.

If I had to guess, I would say it was a patch awarded for attending Den Chief training.

Attached... an idealized version by Norman Rockwell of an uber cool Den Chief showing his collection of arrowheads.

These images are a little closer to reality... The Den Chief was not only there to "inspire", but also to give the Den Leader a break and a chance to get the next activity organized.

Interesting - I hadn't even considered Boy Scouts. I can't find one like it but the construction does seem sililar to a lot of scout patches. Appreciate the assistance!
