US Army OD Suspenders

Recommended Posts

Hi: Found these intertwinded in a bunch of aguillettes (10 ea.) that I purchased at an estate sale. This is a pair of suspenders made of webbing material. Probably worn with field trousers. I don't know much about the time frame but the vet was WWII thru 1970s. Comments welcome

Thanks Ron

You are welcome

The later suspenders used with the M51 winter trousers in the 60s etc are elastic and one piece X" construction having a set of hooks one per side to hook into loops on trousers.

The suspenders crss over the wearers back and the arms go through the openings and then the hooks fasten to the loops on trousers.
