Effects from Staff Sgt. Michael Simpson, DOW 5-2-2013, lost by moving company...

Gold Star spouse looking for a pair of chests lost by a moving company that contained treasured items from Staff Sgt. Michael Simpson who died from combat injuries on May 2, 2013. Please be on lookout. Article attached below.

I think this should go over in the medal section as well. The soldier was a 1st Special Forces Group NCO on an ODA and earned a Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart, which may be floating around out there.

It's amazing how many footlockers, seabags, and backpacks the military-contracted movers manage to "lose".

Turns out the contents of the chests were never lost as they were removed prior to being touched by the moving company. The wooden chests were found on the 21st by the moving company in a warehouse used to temporarily store items. A link to the full updated story can be found in the initial posting.
