beerdragon54 Posted August 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2018 Figured I would start one thread and throw all my finds and parts of my collection in one place. If something is interesting enough or a new thread needs to be created for the betterment of the community, I shall do. Assuming a post WW1 Motor transport corps porcelain license plate decorator. beerdragon54 Posted April 19, 2020 Author Share #8 Posted April 19, 2020 I rediscovered my old thread I forgot about and will start using this. A civil war recruiting broadside I recently bought that has literally my name on it. Came out of a barn about an hour from me. beerdragon54 Posted May 5, 2020 Author Share #12 Posted May 5, 2020 A recent purchase and my first patch blanket. Not many rare but it’s still a neat piece. Came with the name of the nurse who put it together. Missing a white tongue 101st that the previous owner plucked and apparently one other. beerdragon54 Posted August 19, 2020 Author Share #20 Posted August 19, 2020 Small group I just picked up to a local soldier. I will post a picture of his obit when I get a chance. It said he fought in North Africa and Italy and was wounded. The P-38 is dated 1944. Is that saw the escape ones in bailout kits?Star I think is an Italian military souvenir.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

sundance Posted August 26, 2020 Share #23 Posted August 26, 2020 Always fun to see what you've come up with. But as another upstate I'm always a bit jealous at what you have found.
beerdragon54 Posted August 26, 2020 Author Share #24 Posted August 26, 2020 I usually don’t buy dress uniforms but some catch my eye. A traditional April 1945 dated Ike Jacket with some cool patches. 77th is his right shoulder. I’m guessing Japanese occupation made tabs. He had 2 overseas stripes I didn’t picture and Ordnance collar brass.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
beerdragon54 Posted August 26, 2020 Author Share #25 Posted August 26, 2020 Although I’ve shown 2 of these I try and only buy the “cool” ones. This one is felt on satin.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
