Scarecrow Posted August 10, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2018 Just picked this cap up from "The bay". It's a very nice condition Officer's visor "crush" cap by Flight Weight. The cap badge is a bit of a mystery though. I know its probably a shot in the dark but is anyone familiar with the cap badge letters AMC? Flight Instructor? Flight School? Military School? Any help appreciated.
Salvage Sailor Posted August 10, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 10, 2018 I believe that's the old name for Texas A&M. It was originally Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College - AMC. They had a very large ROTC program providing officers in both world wars (more than the USMA West Point)
