WWI Chaplain Uniform DSC

I recently picked this Chaplains uniform up over the weekend from a good friend and fellow forum member . Very happy to acquire this for my collection, as I’ve been after a combat Chaplain for a long time . Patrick Dunigan was Michigan man who served with the 32nd Division. Major Dunigans DSC citation is one of those things you read, and you cant really digest because it seems too surreal . Uniform is named inside to him.

 

I cant link the citation for his DSC, but ive posted screenshots. Really happy to have this in my collection.

Very nice, a late 20s pattern coat, indicating he stayed on for years in the Mich NG. Dunigan from what we can tell was a Roman Catholic Priest, correct?.

From what i understand the medals and paperwork are in a collection out West somewhere.
