mds308 Posted July 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2018 I picked up an interesting group belonging to a USN Sailor who served on the Baltimore Cruiser CA-68 during and after WWII. I got some interesting items and wanted to share this particular trinket. It was his silver ID bracelet with engraving. I like the fact it has his name, date, ship, service number and his rating. This was the first one I had ever seen with this much information.
siege1863 Posted July 24, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2018 Think of all the many other wonderful pieces like this that have been sold as scrap silver. Glad you were able to save this one from a similar fate.
