viking73 Posted July 10, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 10, 2018 Hi, I picked a couple of U.S. Army lighters recently I wanted to share here. The first up is from a Nike-Ajax Missile unit that was part of the Milwaukee defense area. There's no makers mark/logo on the bottom which is a bit unusual I think. But it looks the same and is the same size as all the Japanese made lighters (Vulcan, Ace, etc.) of the 50's and 60's I have in my collection. I love the ARADCOM shield and engraving on this one. The 3rd Missile Battalion/67th Artillery manned Nike site M-54 from 9/58 - 2/61. -Derek
viking73 Posted July 10, 2018 Author Share #2 Posted July 10, 2018 Here's the other one. Engraved as Battery C, 1st Battalion, 30th Artillery. This is a Vulcan brand lighter. Must be from the 1960's with the "RVN" inscription which is very cool to think it must have belonged to a Vietnam Vet. Thanks for looking. -Derek
