Mark1 Posted July 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2018 Do not know if this has anything to do with a veteran's organization, hopefully it does. I Can't find anything about it. The Medal is made by John Frick Jewelry Company of New York Faithful Service 1912 DKH? Any Help, Thanks Mark
KevinBeyer Posted July 6, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2018 Mark1, I have performed as many internet searches as I know how and have not found out any more information about this medal. Can you post a picture of its reverse? My first thought is that D would stand for "Deutsche", but the English words "Faithful Service" don't suggest it has Germanic origins. This is a pretty good mystery. Kevin

Fred Borgmann Posted July 29, 2018 Share #5 Posted July 29, 2018 This looks like a military school medal. The Initials could be the donor's who funded the award. Old National Geographic magazines of 100 years ago used to have pages of ads for these schools in every issue. These can still be found in large public libraries.
