Those are the ones, booklets, the German one was the one I seen from my uncle Pip, thanks.

Is there any TM or FM marking on them?

No only. "J.A.N. No. 1 SEPTEMBER 1943"

Hmm, perhaps it, J.A.N. stands for Japanese Army Navy? Does the Italian one say I.A.N.? still worth a look see around to see if we can find them

That's the ones, and thanks, thanks too for the clarification of JAN. Now we will have to keep looking around now and again, Worthpoint just shows items that have been sold.

JAN 1 is available here for download . . .

http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/NHC/NewPDFs/USN/ONI Recognition Manuals and other material/ONI JAN 1 Uniforms and Insignia.pdf

And it's FREE!

Way back when, circa 1969, a friend had a complete copy and so we photographed every page, carefully, with a really nice 35 MM camera shooting down from a tripod with diffused lighting, so no glare.  Sure wish I knew whatever happened to those shots.
