I have just colourised a WW2 picture for the first time :)

Its Milton E Schlesener Co D 505th PIR, 82nd airborne, made in Groesbeek on 17th of september 1944.

Any tips for my next colourising? :D

Regards, Teun.

Nice job. There are some YouTube videos on skin tones. You will need to learn to use grey, yellow, and at least five skins tones. Search for redit colorized photos as hat is a great place to get feedback.

After I started colorizing too I would stare at peoples ears, facial features and learn that their knuckles and ears are more red. Study people.

Google

Skin tone palettes. What computer program are you using?

The photo came out nice. My only complaint is that you spell color with a "u". Just kidding you a bit. That's the British english spelling. I had some English co-workers a few years ago and we had great fun teasing them about things like that. They would have equal fun reminding us that the language is in fact called ENGLISH. Thanks for the memories. Don't let me stop you from putting that u in there.
