 "LIFE" 27 April 1942, page 42. "Women's Defense Cadet Corps of America (Queens Division), is a national organization started two years ago. Women can drive 7-1/2 ton trucks, know how to shoot" Queen's is part of the boroughs that are next to Manhattan (New York City) along with Brooklen and the Bronx. WDCCA started in 1940 when war clouds wear over Europe. Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ([email protected])
