Better pic of the tag, although looks like a common WWII era seat hopefully easy to ID on its physical features...Would think it is not a pilot or copilot position seat, maybe a FE or radio operator, as it looks like it swivels left and right

Yes...the DOM is 1952 so not WWII era but could be from a B-29, KB-50...looks a lot like a FE seat from a B-29 but no arm rests

The DAC customer stamp might make it a civilian aircraft..DC-6 or so

KB-50 seat

The bottom of the one you posted does not look like the bottom of the one posted by the OP. Your picture shows curved legs while the ones on the other pic look straight. Is something missing on the picture you posted?

Id say the DAC might be Douglas and probably a civi aircraft since there arent any military looking order/contract numbers or USAF or Navy markings

I would agree with a post war civilian seat...based on the DAC stamp

I posted the KB-50 seat to show the similarities of the base, for where the seat might have been used on an aircraft, IE Flight Engineer, Radio operator, or Navigator ...sorry for the confusion
