Keystone Posted June 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2018 I just found this beauty. A 1908 dated Philadelphia Depot made poncho. I'm guessing because of the July 1908 contract date that this is the 1908 spec. according to "world war I nerd's" excellent post on the subject of ponchos. Specification No. 960, adopted by the Army on June 4, 1908 http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/268097-us-army-ponchos-slickers-raincoats-1901-to-1919/?hl=ponchos Measurements are about 88 inches in length and about 65 inches in width. Amazingly this is still nice and supple. It is marked to the 6th field artillery. Tim
