Span Am Belt ?

What are your thoughts on this belt?

Military or Civilian junk?

I don't think its military, but made from military components of web gear. I looked in Dorsey's book. There was a belt for the WW2 Flare pistol and cartridges, but does not look like this... I believe this was made for surplus market for shot gun shells. IMO

My guess is a "personal " belt , made from a strap of ww1 gas mask.
