ParanormalTrooper Posted June 13, 2018 Share #8 Posted June 13, 2018 Lovely uniform! I have a Hq co 3/1 captains uniform, who was on Gloucester as CO. Mightve known your guy! Anyways, thats a great uniform, but since he got out of the reserves in 1965 does that mean youll be at the mercy of a FOIA request for another 7 years? Is there any way to get his BSM citation without going through the NARA?
mes Posted June 13, 2018 Author Share #9 Posted June 13, 2018 Ben Yes I have his foia which is very limited. It's another 9 years before his file is fully archival.

Martinjmpr Posted June 15, 2018 Share #11 Posted June 15, 2018 Interesting - is that a khaki version of the Marine "alpha?" I've never seen that before, was it a pre-WWII or just a WWII uniform?

Stony Posted April 3, 2019 Share #14 Posted April 3, 2019 What is the ribbon to the right of the BS? It looks to be a European Theater ribbon, but that would be strange on an USMC uniform.
