bladelover Posted June 13, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 13, 2018 Would anyone want to show me the difference between m6 and m8 scabbards? Thanks. Jeff
Misfit 45 Posted June 13, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 13, 2018 The M6 scabbards were leather and made for the M3 Trench Knife. The M8 scabbard is fiberglass and made for the M3 Trench Knife and later for the M4 Bayonet. The M8A1 was made for the M4 bayonet as well as the M5/A1 bayonet, the M6 bayonet and the M7 bayonet. sundance Posted June 13, 2018 Share #3 Posted June 13, 2018 OK, OK there's no need to do that. Now we all (or most of us) feel inadequate. That's one nice collection. Now I forgot what the question was.

Misfit 45 Posted June 13, 2018 Share #5 Posted June 13, 2018 As far as the m6 scabbards go, that was the only photo I had. I just happened to have a photo taken from a website. I believe it is from Bill Walter's book. I don't even collect M3s. Although the M4s (and one M3) in the bottom photo are from my collection. mruiz Posted June 28, 2018 Share #7 Posted June 28, 2018 No wonder I can't find one M6 scabbard with M-3. They are all in CA.
