TLeo Posted June 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2018 I up in northern Virginia for a few days and was visiting the museum yesterday for the 100th anniversary of Belleau Wood and took a few photos of the event to share. There was a very good crowd all day and they had visitors placing poppies on the lawn in honor of each Marine killed during WW1 and as an added touch....each poppy stem had the name of the Marine attached. Along with the other regular exhibits there were several WW1 displays of uniforms and artifacts. So, here are a few of them beginning with two of Gen. Lejuene's personal items...
