it s the transportation corps? dukw 's conductor?
A friend say: transportation corps of the VI Corps, are you agree too?

I have never seen one like this one but I would have to agree about being a “duck” driver or Associated associated with them.

I really like it.... great find.

Without being able to ID the helmet liner it is pure speculation.

Looks like you have a laundry number on the webbing?...its a long shot but maybe you could one day narrow it down and hopefully find a guy in a transportation unit that might be a match...mike

I think the likely hood of being Transportation Corps is pretty good. The circle is a ships wheel which is part of the insignia for the TC. Google Transportation Corps amphibious truck units and you'll find a lot of information about theor activities that include a vast network of DUKW's
