kingpanzer Posted June 2, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2018 Hello I pickup this leather patch the other week and can't find any information on it. The guy I received it from say it was his fathers patch from ww2. He sounded sincere. Any information would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance. Der Finn Posted June 2, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 2, 2018 Very interesting patch! The tiger resembles Tony the Tiger of cereal fame...
manayunkman Posted June 2, 2018 Share #3 Posted June 2, 2018 This type of patch construction is associated with Chinese applique. Whether it is right or not I don't know but it does have good detail.
tredhed2 Posted June 2, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 2, 2018 This is an Indian-made patch for the 1369th MP Co (AVN), assigned to 312th FW, 14th AF. (CBI) It has the HM of Indian painted leather patches, constructed of multiple pieces of leather. It appears to be an original, period patch.
