O.G-Palmer Posted November 25, 2008 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2008 Today I took a gamble, Wings of any period are not my specialty so I took the risk as it was dirt cheap. Did I do the right thing or will I be posting this in the fake wings section ? I know nothing about wings so im intrigued to find out what I have found. O.G-Palmer Posted November 25, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted November 25, 2008 Quote Now you know one is just never enough, I know, im going back to get the other one. When did they start using these wings? I have not come across this type before. What was the criteria you had to meet to earn them? Apparently these have come out of Mildenhall airbase over here in the UK.

I really miss Norfolk. After being based at Mildenhall for 7 years, I am trully homesick for good ol'e blighty. I still have a good friend living in West Runton.... -Ski

Yours is a Command Pilot wing... these are the criteria: *15 years as rated pilot, and *Permanent award of senior pilot rating, and 3000 total hours, or *2300 hours primary and instructor flight, or *144 months Operational Flying Duty (OFDA)
