.458 Win Mag Garand?

I think this should be good to post seeing that this is about the garand, albeit not as issued of course but there does not seem to be a lot of information on these. Pretty much all I can find is these stopped being produced in 2010 do to the passing of the gunsmith Rich McCann, they were well modified, they worked, and anything on the receiving end ceases to exist. So does anyone know anything more about these or possibly have one? Any info would be interesting. I just found out these were a thing the other night. How many were made, what are they worth? Apparently it cost $2500 to have this done. The youtube comments gave up a little more info but this site and those comments are the most that turned up with a cursory search.
