The British Government selling the last of their WWII new old stock DUKW spares.

 

If you have a DUKW take a look at these pallets and pallets of genuine new old stock DUKW spares.

Maybe you should add a DUKW to your 'fleet'? ;) Cheaper than a GPA..

Hi Rusty, also larger than a GPA. Thirty years ago one of my friends went out to look at a DUKW, his wife issued him instructions ' don't come back with a DUKW ' sure enough he obeyed his wife and didn't come back with a DUKW, he came back with TWO . . . . and it's his wife that tells this story .

 

But he always relates, you haven't got a friend in the world when your restoring a DUKW, but set it down on a beach and the whole world and his dog wants a ride in the sea. . . . . . But when you come back out and have to drain the thing down and change gearbox and axle oils, again you haven't got a friend in the world.

I guess they also need some serious rust protection if they are taken out into salt waters.

 

Lonely or not imo you gotta love 'm :)

Gee, that's just about everything that broke on the DUKW's, especially the axles and shafts.
