mwesson030 Posted May 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2018 I recently picked up this PASGT helmet, and I was hoping to get some more info about the cover. From what I have dug up around the internet, these covers were made with old uniform shreds and saw use in the 7th ID and some scout/ranger units. My questions are: why is the base cover is handmade/ no straps, why is there reflective cloth tied to the front, why there is a made by name, and how long were these types of covers used. mwesson030 Posted May 16, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted May 16, 2018 The elastic at the edge of the cover is a standard helmet band that has been sewn in.
