I pick this one up over the weekend and the seller miss identified some of the lettering. He identified it as H.Q. Bosser PM.1. And it really reads H.D. Blosset M.G.. who after research ended up being Harold D Blosser who entered service in 1928 and served through WW2 and possibly Korea. He served with different services and HQ battalions and even served at the NewYork Worlds Fair in 1939. During WW2 at the beginning he was with the 11th Marines and was shifted too the 3rd Marine Division in mid 1942. I thought the tag was engraved but looks like it was acid etched in a different way that I have never seen done before. It looks like the tag was completely protected from acid the the name was scratched in and then dipped in till etched. Plus I have never seen the abreveation for Marine Gunner done before either so I had to have it. Any thoughts are welcome.

I just picked up some of this Marine's medals.  Any idea if more is out there?

I haven’t seen any. All I picked up was this tag. Post some pictures I would love to see the medals.
