horridohutch Posted May 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2018 My focus has always been ww2 but have started to like the newer stuff. I bought this lid from a Navy Corpsman who said he worked with various NSW, MARSOC operators. He said this lid was used on deployment and he had taken out the old pads. Please let me know if I did ok, I am really hoping to have a decent example of an SF helmet. What has me is the Gentex brand and the Phone talker III name. I have not found much on them, but have only had the helmet for a few days. Thanks guys for your opinions.

RedLegGI Posted May 11, 2018 Share #4 Posted May 11, 2018 As long as you have the history direct from the vet, you're golden. Make sure to keep it with the helmet etc. As for this type of helmet, I've never actually seen that label/type which I find very interesting. mwesson030 Posted May 11, 2018 Share #5 Posted May 11, 2018 Never seen that model of helmet before, but with special ops helmets the most important thing is for you to able to prove it is real. As long as you can prove that this was a real helmet that saw action beyond an airsoft or paintball field you are in the clear.
