I bought about 150 slides with song lyrics, produced for the USO in the early 1940's. About 40 of the slides have decorations by various artists/cartoonists. Some of the slides are labeled "HIT KIT" - I found an audio clip of a 1940's band leader talking sbout creating something for the HIT KIT program of the USO. One of these sets sold in 2014 (in original case). That's the only other reference to USO Song Slides I could find.
