armydoc Posted May 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2018 I have a field kit or portable chaplain communion set that is from 1953, it is complete. It belonged to retired Colonel Paul Tomasovic, known as "the flying chaplain." You can read his obituary on Legacy.com. very interesting career. I am a new member so I cannot start a new thread but would like to share photos to get advice. I would like to donate it to a military museum if it is considered historically unique. If a dime a dozen, that would be good to know but it seems like it would be good for some Army or Air Force museum display. Especially since the owner's story is known. He was raised in a Lutheran orphanage and became a Lutheran chaplain. Let me know the best way to share photos.
