mds308 Posted May 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2018 Hi Everyone, I found this image and had some questions. His hat's device is crossed swords with 3 on top and C below.3rd Cavalry Company C? The buttons are blurred but the last button looks like an eagle (chicken eagle?). Obviously post civil war. I'm guessing 1870s. What is the era of his hat? Is the saddle a McClellan?
