LINEAGE. Constituted 87th Pursuit Squadron (Interceptor) on 13 Jan 1942. Activated on g Feb 1942. Redesignated 87th Fighter Squadron on 15 May 1942. Inactivated on 15 Jul 1947.

Nice patch Rick - hopefully you wont mind me posting these here, but they look like they may have been made by the same Italian maker. Here is an 87th FS patch my wife found at an antique store, with the DAF and AAF patches.
