Nice 1st Cav. Ike uniform

Just picked up this 1st Cav. Ike with some extras. Uniforms aren't really my thing but it looks correct to me.

 

Can anyone help me with the value from such a grouping? It's not IDed, unfortunately.

Looks fine

 

Appears to have two US collar discs but have seen that done before.Possible it was done even post war at some point by the vet or family putting the discs back on

I have noticed this is a somewhat common occurrence on WWII Ikes from cavalrymen in particular... I dont know if it was because of supply problems obtaining cavalry disks, or if there was confusion with some cavalry units operating essentially as infantry. Admittedly, I have seen the double US disks more often on ETO cavalry / recon jackets, whereas the 1st cav tended to source the correct disks more often than not. Just an observation.
