joefriday22 Posted April 27, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 27, 2018 Hello folks, I know there are a few old threads on here regarding the Australian/New Zealand knives but thought I'd post pics of mine and some of you can add yours for reference. As we all know, we like it when we are searching the internet for information on something and we find that someone has taken the time to post some pictures or information regarding whatever it is we're looking for. My humble collection (so far). I made the new looking sheath. My first attempt at making something with leather and it works just fine. schmooser Posted April 28, 2018 Share #3 Posted April 28, 2018 The sheath is very similar to the Dudley Robbins sheath? I have a copy of the DR, will post pics tomorrow.

thorin6 Posted April 30, 2018 Share #7 Posted April 30, 2018 Here's mine (only one I own). Sheath is dated 1943 and has a kangaroo on the back.
joefriday22 Posted April 30, 2018 Author Share #8 Posted April 30, 2018 Very nice. Nicest condition sheath I've ever seen. The belt loop is different from all others that I've seen too. Thank you for adding to the post. Best, Rob
barryeye Posted April 30, 2018 Share #9 Posted April 30, 2018 The kangaroo is a puzzle as I am pretty sure these were made at the railways work shop in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. (Close to where I used to work and live). The few I 've handled had no markings.
