arche-foto Posted April 19, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 19, 2018 Hello, who knows anything about the US military's actions during the native riots or World War I? In connection with the German Schutztruppe, period about 1902-1920. Maybe military advisers or military observers? regards
lettow Posted April 19, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2018 I will have to dig out my books on the Great War in Africa to confirm but I believe the US had military observers there prior to entry. I know the US had observers in South Africa during the Boer War. The military action in SW Africa during WWI was quick. East Africa saw protracted fighting.
