hhbooker2 Posted November 21, 2008 Share #1 Posted November 21, 2008 "Regulations for the Uniforms & Dress of the Army of the United States" (1851) as photographed by an unknown photographer of the only copy of this book with both black & white and colour plates of the uniforms and other items worn back then. This fetched an extremely high bid, much more than I would have imagine, but, in 1851 the Army of the U.S. was quite small and what are the odds of these uniform regulations surviving for more than 150 years and going through a Civil War too? Sorry for the poor quality, my apologies! Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ([email protected])
