I'll do three more and call it a day on these. I have a couple pairs of unattached numbered artillery BOS as well but can't seem to find them at the moment. Anyway, here's one of a pair of 405th Infantry Regiment insignia. I believe it's from the late 30s or very early WW-II; this pair has screw-back mountings. I have no idea what division the 405th was associated with.

Here's the last two. On top is one side of a pair of 38th IR Infantry BOS insignia attached to a 1952-dated officer's uniform. The uniform also has a 2nd ID patch on the sleeve, WW-II and Korea ribbons, and a CIB w/star.

Bottom is another that really doesn't have numbers. It's a pair of ROTC insignia for Ohio State University. Both the OSU pins and the US/ROTC pins are screw-back mounted. since they do have attached letters and I thought they were interesting, I included them as well.

That's about it for mine unless I come across those wayward loose arty pairs. I hope you have found these at least mildly interesting.

Has anyone ever seen a 352nd infantry darkened bronze officer's Insignia?

That is one set I would like to add to "the pile".

Cheers

The 405th was a Organized Reserve unit with it's HQ at Little Rock, Arkansas before WWII. It was assigned to the 102nd Inf Div during WWII.

Hello,

Does anyone know what unit this is? 05 infantry? It doesn't appear to have had another number on it, so why would it be 05 and not just a 5? Any help would be great.

Thanks,

James

Also here's a WWII era / Occupation era 504th officers crossed rifle pin, with a strange style of numbers on it sort of a cross between script and block.

Here's the back of the 504th rifle pin and the 05 rifle pin. The 05 is meyer marked but the 504th is unmarked.

While not technically a "numbered" insignia, I thought this was pretty cool (especially being a Citadel alum), and I figured most of y'all probably hadn't seen one like this. BTW, if any of you have any others with a "Citadel" arc like this, I would be interested in acquiring them!

This one has a very interesting construction, open catch pin back with snowflake acid test on reverse, but arc is smooth.
