Post your ww2 marine uniforms

Last one for today is a pretty ordinary 100% cotton officer's blouse. It has a matching cotton belt and removable buttons. It's stamped on the inside in a couple places with the owner's name. The one shown is on the center back seam. It has a cloth tag sewn on the inside of the lower skirt of the blouse. I'm posting a pic of it but it's virtually unreadable to my eyes.

Just saw this thread and enjoy seeing what others have collected and so thought I'd post some of mine. All of mine are named and with their records.

The first belonged to a career Marine who flew SBDs in WW2 and later commanded jet squadrons in Korea and afterward. The second set belonged to Guadalcanal vet and then Chesty Puller's XO with 1st Marines in Korea. The third to a 2nd Division veteran of Tulagi, Guadalcanal and Korea who began as enlisted and retired a colonel and the last to a pilot with a night fighter squadron at Okinawa. I'll post a few more later today.
