easterneagle87 Posted March 5, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 5, 2018 This flag is listed in a local Craigslist-ing. Is it a predecessor to the mainly seen black MIA / POW flag that flies now? They're asking $150, which I think is a bit high, but am a flag fan so I still find it interesting.
gwb123 Posted March 5, 2018 Share #2 Posted March 5, 2018 Not that this is helpful, but I do not ever recall seeing that in conjunction with the Vietnam War. It must have been made in the early 1970's, if that late in the war. We didn't have very many Vietnam POW's come home before then.
easterneagle87 Posted March 6, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted March 6, 2018 What would be a reasonable offer?
trenchrat1918 Posted April 16, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 16, 2018 Your flag is from American ex-prisoner of war, a veterans organization established in 1942. The organization was established in 1942 as the Bataan Relief Organization and the name was changed in 1946. Check out their website, they have a fascinating history. Without knowing the size I would pay $75 or so, it's a cool piece.
