FortJohn Posted March 4, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2018 I don't know if he was with the Paratroopers or not. his name was Frank S. Trill. ASN. 33421684. His garrison cap is named a couple of times. It has a felt British army patch on it. There is a picture of him wearing the cap. A picture of some men that looks like training in the south with the pine trees in the background. A picture with paratroopers, the D bails can be seen on the helmets, one helmet looks to have wire wrapped on it or a cargo net. There is a USN needle tin. He was from Beaver Falls Pa. FortJohn Posted March 10, 2018 Author Share #18 Posted March 10, 2018 It was a small auction in the evening on a weekday.15 years ago or more. There was a woman acting as power of attorney. When I had gotten the things. I asked her if there were any photos of him. She gave me these photos. I am glad I asked. Greg.
