Squadron 3 ship patches.

The USCGC Chase patch came with the Squadron 3 patch next to it as did the USCGC Minnetonka patch. I don't know if the Minnetonka had a Vietnam deployment patch.

Various Squadron 3 patches. The one in the upper right is dated 1969. The bottom patch and ribbons, etc. are one grouping.

Except for the duplicate Squadron 1 patches these are Navy patches. They have a connection to the Coast Guard. Division 11 tied up to the APL 55 and Division 12 tied up to the YR-71. Any information on the YR-71 patch in the lower right would be greatly appreciated.

LORAN Station Tan My patch. This one is interesting because the shirt is Air Force. They were the security at Tan My.

Here is something you may not see again, a USCG Squadron 1 windbreaker.

Keep an eye out for an oddball 1968 Squadron 3 patch, the blue, gold and white one with the V and the eagle. Although I lost it years ago, the patch I had was logo'd as Coast Guard Squadron THEE. I believe we bought them in Subic Bay. Would wonder if there are any others that may have survived over the years..

I have a 1968 posted but mine has the "R". I did see another 1968 on ebay a few years ago but I don't know if that had the error or not.

Mitch, Very nice collection. I particularly like your Point Grey patch. I noticed you said "had", do you still have your collection?
