MilitaryPicker1941 Posted February 20, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 20, 2018 Recently acquired a small group named to a E_l_m_e_r_G_a_b_l_e. G_a_b_l_e was an aviation mechanic during WWII and was attached to VMF-911 and later VMF-441. This grouping consists of one of his sergeant stripes (which looks to have been uniform removed), a WWI era Japanese medal, his dog tag, and a Japanese made VMF-441 patch which was probably made in 1946 when he was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. Thanks for looking, Noah

firefighter Posted February 22, 2018 Share #8 Posted February 22, 2018 That is one cool squadron patch. Love the design and the Corsair looks like the space shuttle.
