Thanks all, for the positive comments. I’m grateful to the forum member that gave me the opportunity to bring these medals back to Southern California, the last terra firma that Ernie Baca called home. Chief Baca and men like him gave their lives for the lives we have today. It was an honor to give some time to tell the story behind this Purple Heart and Good Conduct medal as best I could.
