Died Jan 2018 age 95 Florida.. a fried of his also survived Stalag Luft III... Bill Corson also of Middletown Ohio enlisted April 1943 8th Air Force Bombadier plane "Golden bear" shot down June 22, 1943 Huls Germany -also a inmate of Stalag Luft III..died 1991 [he had lost a brother Dan Corson B-17 Dannelen shot down 20 Dec 1942 France] Ref: Hamilton Journal News, Butler County Ohio 4 Feb 2018 pp.B-1 B-8 Lastly I had meet an actual Stalag Luft III POW my old college [Miami University Ohio] History Teacher Edward Parsons.
