100th Infantry Division Patches - Uncut

Armed 2 tha Teeth

I bought these patches a few months ago and posted them on the Facebook page last night.

They are fully machined 100th Infantry Division patches that were never cut from the khaki twill they were embroidered on.

They are "greenback", and the back of the twill they are embroidered on seems to have a water resistant coating, which a poster told me is starch that was applied to make the patches easier to cut out.

If anyone is interested in additional photos just let me know.

Tom, thanks for sharing! In the 4 years I've been casually collecting, I don't recall ever seeing uncut 100th patches, let alone earlier greenbacks. I also never knew about the use of starch being applied before they cut them. Learned something new today
