manayunkman Posted January 16, 2018 Share #7 Posted January 16, 2018 They made a whole series of these beautiful models. It won't be hard to put these pieces back together. Just bunny trail but Hummel made bisque German recognition models.

TreasureHunter Posted January 16, 2018 Author Share #13 Posted January 16, 2018 Thanks, I got quite the education on these rather quickly. I just bought them cuz they were German and a send home. They shall be passed onto to someone who can restore them properly, not my area of collecting. Bill

Reed S Posted June 10, 2021 Share #19 Posted June 10, 2021 My dad sent a few of these home and now happy he didn't let us play with them. 11th Armored, 3rd Army. They must be rare.
William A. Bell Posted June 10, 2021 Share #20 Posted June 10, 2021 Hey Reed! That is a nice T-34. Do you have any other models? These are generally known as Rodach models after the town in Germany where they were made. There were several makers, most of which made wooden toys before and during the war. There were many different models (Tiger, Panther, PkKw IV, SdKfz 251, SdKfz 250, StuG, Churchill, Sherman, T-85, T-34 including several variants). The T-34 like you have shown here is the most common. I collect these models and have probably three dozen or so. Always interested in acquiring more.
