Andrei Posted November 13, 2008 Share #58 Posted November 13, 2008 The Marine tankie is an Action Man. The 2nd Marine from left is a Mexican GI.Joe, Hombre de Accion. The first Marine with the M2 carbine is also an Action Man. The SF in Jungle jacket and the US Infantryman are Action Men too. Rest of the troops is GI.Joe. Copran Posted November 14, 2008 Share #59 Posted November 14, 2008 Andrei, Your GI Joe clothes match Owen uniforms, you must make modded uniforms with additionnal pockets now.
Kurt Barickman Posted November 15, 2008 Share #60 Posted November 15, 2008 Enjoyed the show and thanks for showing Your collecting tastes certainly reflect your name! Is that MacPherson grouping the set to the 2nd Marine Division officer also displayed in Glenn's USMC book? Kurt Barickman

Your mini playboy is spot on . Which month is it ..... owen I think it's July 1970 but the writing is that small it's a bit hard. It's was made from a full scale cover found on the net and just shrunk using a 1:6th converter, same as the Cig packet. Well if i don't have any real tigers at least i have scale ones E
Andrei Posted November 19, 2008 Share #69 Posted November 19, 2008 Takara made a Tiger Set in the early 70s. I will post my Action Man dressed with this WE. The deck officer is a nice set. I have it GI.Joe. The new mini-blokes are cool but they will never ever have the same flavor of the old Joes and Action Men.

doyler Posted February 18, 2009 Share #75 Posted February 18, 2009 Here is a shirt I believe to be a experimental or proto type prior to the P42 1st pattern camos.THis style is shown in "Grunt Gear".The collar and yoke details are the same in the picture and note the doughnut buttons opposed to the snaps that are standard on the P42s.I have the trousers also but they are rotted out in the seat. What do you think??
